New Solar Incentives & Improved Financing Available Starting July 1, 2026
We're excited to share major updates from the Energize Delaware Solar Loan Program as well as the DE grant programs that make going solar more affordable than ever before!

💰 Enhanced Solar Financing for ALL DE CUSTOMERS!
Beginning July 1, 2026, Energize Delaware is improving its Solar Loan Program with:
✅ Extended financing terms — now available for up to 15 years (previously 10 years)
✅ Low 3.9% fixed interest rate remains unchanged
✅ Lower credit score requirement — reduced from 650 to 600
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🎉 NEW SOLAR GRANT DELMARVA POWER CUSTOMERS – UP TO $10,000 FOR RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS & $40,000 for COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS!
If you've been considering solar but haven't made the move yet, this may be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Starting July 1, 2026, eligible Delmarva Power customers can receive:
💵 Up to $10,000 in Solar Grant Funding RESIDENTIAL
(Previously capped at $6,000)
💵 Up to $40,000 in Solar Grant Funding COMMERCIAL
(Previously capped at $30,000)
The grant is paid directly to Green Street Solar and applied immediately to your project cost, resulting in:
✔️ Lower upfront expenses
✔️ Reduced project financing amount
✔️ Lower monthly loan payments
✔️ Faster return on your solar investment
These changes will be put into place through the Green Grant Delaware website on July 1, 2026. Applications that have moved on to Part 2 are unfortunately not eligible to receive the increase. If you have not yet installed your system you should be eligible for new incentive levels please check with our team to confirm eligibility.

💵 Up to $5,000 in Solar Grant Funding RESIDENTIAL
(Previously capped at $2,000)
💵 Up to $20,000 in Solar Grant Funding COMMERCIAL
(Previously capped at $10,000)
The grant is paid directly to Green Street Solar and applied immediately to your project cost, resulting in:
✔️ Lower upfront expenses
✔️ Reduced project financing amount
✔️ Lower monthly loan payments
✔️ Faster return on your solar investment
⚠️ Important Eligibility Information
Please note that these new incentives are not retroactive.
Customers who have already:
• Installed a solar system, or
• Previously received grant funding through an earlier solar incentive program
are generally not eligible for these new incentives.
However, You May Still Qualify!
If you have:
✅ Signed a contract with Green Street Solar but your system has not yet been installed, or
✅ Your system has been installed but the final grant paperwork has not yet been submitted
you may be eligible for the increased grant amount.
Because every project is unique, eligibility must be reviewed individually.
💵 DID YOU KNOW? THE 30% FEDERAL TAX CREDIT IS STILL IN PLAY FOR ALL COMMERCIAL SYSTEMS THROUGH 7/4/26!!!!!!
