CVS Pharmacy in Sunbury, PA—sealed the RITEWAY! 💪

💧 Water line repair done the RITEWAY!

We got an early morning call from Susquehanna Valley Mall in Selinsgrove about a water line break, and our crew got to work.

We traced the problem to the six-inch domestic water line, excavated to locate the leak, completed the repair, and pressure tested the line. Then we backfilled and compacted the excavation.

We ran out of daylight with a little finishing work left, so we’ll be back tomorrow to wrap things up!

A lasting paving job starts with what’s underneath! 💪

Our project for Fine Line Homes in Winfield, PA, started as a parking lot removal and replacement, along with an overlay of the lane. But once we removed the old blacktop, we found trapped water and a collapsed underdrain that needed attention.

To get things right, our crew undercut the parking lot where needed, installed new underdrain, and graded and compacted the base to prepare it for paving.

At RITEWAY, going above and beyond means addressing the problems beneath the surface so the finished job has a solid foundation.

🚧 Our guys have been down at Indian Trail Country Market in Elizabethville, PA, for the past few days, handling precision grading and compaction to get everything ready for our paving crew.

🚧 BLOOMSBURG ELEMENTARY — BUILDING IT THE RITEWAY! 🚧

What started as a parking lot replacement turned into a much bigger project once we uncovered what was underneath! 👀

While we were teamed up with Swank Milling Services to remove the old blacktop, their milling machine began sinking into the failing subgrade. Beneath the pavement? Topsoil, clay, and unsuitable fill. 😳

💪 Time to get to work! We’re undercutting the lot approximately TWO FEET, excavating and hauling out the poor material, bringing in rock, and capping it with 2A subbase.

Sealcoating season is winding down! 🍂

We usually wrap up by the end of October because cooler temperatures and wet weather make it tough to keep sealing. Our crews are out there hammering away, and we still have room to get your driveway or parking lot done this season.
