THE HEAT IS HERE—and your lawn feels it too!
With the heat index reaching around 100°, your grass may start showing signs of heat stress. A few simple changes can help protect your lawn during extreme temperatures:
💧 Water deeply, not constantly to encourage stronger, deeper roots.
🌅 Water early in the morning so moisture can reach the roots before the hottest part of the day.
✂️ Don’t cut too short. Taller grass helps shade the soil and protect the root system.
👀 Watch for stress. Wilting, discoloration, or grass that stays flattened after you walk across it can be signs your lawn needs attention.
And remember—your lawn crew feels this heat too! Outdoor work may take a little longer while we make sure our crew gets the water and cooling breaks they need. We appreciate your patience! ❤️
