The recent Spokane-area wildfires have deeply impacted communities across the region, including members of Washington’s land surveying community. LSAW Past President Jim Main and his wife, Danette, lost their home, vehicles, and temporarily, Jim’s surveying business. Thankfully, they were able to evacuate safely.

Those wishing to help fellow surveyors affected by the fires may donate to the NSPS Foundation Disaster Relief Fund. Please designate donations for Washington State. Funds will be earmarked for eligible Washington applicants through January 31, 2027.
