Emerald Ash Borer damage isn’t always obvious right away... 🌳

Here are a few signs to watch for:

🔸 Thinning leaves, sparse canopy, or branches at the top starting to die or lose leaves
🔸 Small D-shaped holes in the bark
🔸 Distinct winding patterns beneath the bark
🔸 Increased woodpecker activity

By the time these signs are visible, the tree is often already under stress, early detection and timely treatment make all the difference!

We work with trees every day, and it’s always special to see them continue on in meaningful ways. 🌳

WITT 360 Tree Service was truly honored to donate cedar logs to The Cross Makers of Seward, an incredible group of volunteers who handcraft wooden palm crosses and send them around the world.

To know these trees will be transformed into something that carries faith, hope, and purpose is incredibly special to us. We’re touched to play even a small part in their mission and grateful for the opportunity to support such a wonderful organization in our community. 💙

Had a great time at the Seward County Emergency Preparedness Expo this weekend!! 🌳⚠️

Storm season is something we think about year-round, and events like this are a great reminder of how important it is to be prepared before severe weather hits. 🌪️ Damaged, diseased, overhanging, or structurally compromised trees can become serious hazards during storms. Weak branch unions, decay, cracks, and other defects aren’t always obvious, but they’re the kind of issues our team and Certified Arborists are trained to identify. Getting ahead of potential problems can make all the difference for your home and your family’s safety. 🏠

Protect Your Ash Trees from Emerald Ash Borer (EAB)! 🌳🐞

Now is the time to get on our schedule for EAB treatments! Treatments are most effective in late spring, after trees have fully leafed out.

If your ash tree was last treated in 2024, it will be due again this year to maintain protection.

If you’re unsure whether your tree is due, or if treatment still makes sense, we’d be happy to help! Our Certified Arborists can take a look and help you make the decision that’s right for your tree and your property.
