Hello firewood customers:

We unfortunately have some bad news- after apparent vandalism and repeated breakdowns of our firewood processor- we have made the difficult decision to stop all firewood production at this time. We sincerely apologize to our custard have been patiently waiting for their firewood order. We do have a couple of awesome seward guys that sell firewood and are happy to pass on their numbers. Thank you for your understanding. Have a great winter.

Tonsina Trailhead users!!! Andrews and Sons over the next week will be doing some much needed abutment work on the south side of the bridge over the Tonsina. We know how important it is for you all to have access so we will be working to make as little nuisance as possible for your hiking. Please be aware at times during the day you may need to stop and wait for our operators to give you the go ahead. When we are not working we will at least have a ladder on site to get down if the bridge extention is not able to be reattached at night. Without this work the bridge would not be usable very soon due to continued deterioration of the ground around it. Please be prepared for delays and in the unforseen circumstance the tide is too high and there is no workaround to get down safely we will notify at the beginning of the trail and on social media. Thank you for your patience as we use this window to get this complete ASAP. Thank you!!!!
