When clearing for a building pad we like to pull/push the larger trees over. The roots dampen the fall saving the wood grain structure for premium logs, the falling tree also takes the root ball with it. This saves on machine wear and time.

We especially enjoy when projects line up with our philosophy and passions. We love Seward and it’s been tough seeing people turn away from our town because of housing. We are glad to be partnering with a local family who feels the same and this project will add 4 long term housing units for our community.

We favor projects that will benefit our small town as a whole, especially those that will welcome and foster longterm families and community builders.

That’s a wrap. What was once raw land is now 2 guest cabins and a triplex for workforce housing. 175 days of and I toiling away to make this happen, and fueling us and taking care of the fort…. And baby Jed for the countless hours of entertainment. Way to go team, another one, (or 5 depending on how you are counting it) on the books. Thank you for the many years of coming up and adding onto an already gorgeous operation you have. It is always a pleasure to be part of your story.
