I try to always give people an idea of averages when mowing season is about to kick off. Different factors can make a bid but this is just an average for anyone wanting lawn care.

The average cost of lawn mowing is $30 to $85 per visit for a ⅛ to ¼ acre yard or $60 to $150 per acre. Lawn mowing services charge $40 to $80 per hour to cut grass.

There was a yard there, just had to find it. Unfortunate things happen and I’m always happy when I can help out. Thankfully when their mower caught on fire this summer, no one was injured. Always thankful for the work and customers giving a great referral to keep busy!!

So I never wanted to do this but feel as if it’s necessary because of the followers we’ve gathered in the last couple years. I’ve posted on my personal page and it’s far different from being what I consider professional on the business page. I was approached today by a very sweet woman and she said “What happened and why did you quit the cemetery?” I’ll clear that up in a short message and that’s all I have to say. I didn’t quit on my Daughter and I didn’t quit on your loved ones or you. We haven’t mowed it since just before Labor Day and only did a part of it. I appreciate the support and honestly the questions. I really don’t want to and won’t say much about it at this time. God bless you all that continue to support us, those that believe in us and I even appreciate those that pour gasoline on the fire. We aren’t perfect but continue to take great pride in all the work we do and most of you contribute to that!!! - Love, prayers and appreciation from Chris

I want to send a sincere THANK YOU to the Seymour Lady Tigers and Coach Jessen for helping remove flowers at the cemetery this morning!!! We came up with this plan last year, that if I got it again they would be there to help and they didn’t skip a beat. I believe we had to dispose of fewer this year and I hope that’s because more were removed and saved for other times or purposes. These young ladies as well as Coach Jessen didn’t hesitate to ask questions about anything they hesitated to remove. Some things were left and some were removed depending on what it was. It was all my decision so I’ll take the harsh “talk” if there is any. It’s one of the hardest things I do all year removing valuable flowers that people leave for loved ones but I also have to follow the rules for my own and be able to maintain the mowing. I try to leave everything I possibly can. This isn’t about me or anything other than thanking these kids and a coach wanting to help out the community!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Not only are we wishing Derek the Happiest of Birthdays but congratulations!!! This guy is the future, he follows me, spectates and everything I do he’s watching and learning. He always says if there was a few more of him and I that we could do anything. That’s true in a sense but there’s also the training that he puts in showing each and every person exactly how the job should be!! Coming soon people might not see me as much but this guy out running a crew, I’ll still be around but there’s plenty elsewhere that I can be doing and we can split up jobs. Big jobs the whole crew will be there but residentials and small jobs it could just be the “Boss” leading the way. I have the utmost confidence that I don’t have to be at every job and any situation I can be there quick. I thank you all and hope you wish him a Happy Birthday as well!!!
