Drainage matters just as much as the concrete itself. 💧

One of the most common issues we see with patios and walkways isn’t always the concrete, sometimes it’s poor drainage. Standing water can lead to erosion, settlement, and staining.

In this project, we incorporated a catch basin and drainage system to properly collect and redirect runoff before pouring the new concrete.

This is a driveway we recently inspected here in Frisco Texas. Like many older driveways we replace, we found no rebar reinforcement. In our expansive clay soils, that can contribute to cracking, separation, and settlement over time.

That’s why we build every driveway to a higher standard:

✔️ Properly compacted subgrade and road base
✔️ 3,500+ PSI concrete with fiber
✔️ Rebar reinforcement ( #3– #4, depending on project requirements)
✔️ Properly spaced control joints

Proper preparation and reinforcement help your driveway perform better and last longer.
