Er****on is underway on our Hartford Hospital parking structure in Hartford, CT. Nine levels, open design, BIM-coordinated from the start and 1,091 total pieces to place. Precast Services, Inc. is erecting. Construction Resource Services is grouting. Schnell is on waterproofing. The team is dialed in for another safe precast build.

Every embedded plate for a welded connection that leaves our plant gets welded to spec by a qualified welder. Those connections help support the entire precast structure. Each weld must be correct. This video shows how it’s done.

Students from Southwestern Vermont Regional Technical School came into our plant and helped cast the insulated sandwich wall panels headed to the Bennington Skatepark bathroom.

Our crew showed the students how the sandwich panel is made and helped them build the panel to maintain the standard we hold ourselves to every day. That is how real learning works.

Precast is a craft. We are proud to help the next generation of builders understand what that means.

What happens when you play a video of student power washing paraffin wax off thin brick in reverse?

You get a student from Southwestern Vermont Regional Technical School capturing clouds!

Thin brick gets set into the form face-down before the pour. Paraffin wax protects the clay brick face from concrete slurry during casting. After the panel is stripped, power washing removes the wax, and the finished brick face is revealed. Clean, sharp, and built right into the panel.

Four precast insulated wall panels, one community, and a group of neighbors who showed up.

Dailey Precast donated the panels for the new bathroom at the Bennington Skatepark, and we are humbled by everyone who stepped in to make it happen.

Here is who made it possible: Construction Resource Services (CRS) handled grouting. Schnell Contracting Limited LLC caulked the corners and waterproofed the structure. J & T Trucking donated the transportation from our yard to the park. Valley Crane Services put the panels in the air. Prime Steel provided the bracing poles. Our own senior welder / fabricator Bill Perry welded every connection. Students and instructors from Southwestern Vermont Regional Technical School helped design and cast the panels at our plant and will be back to build the roof. Dailey Precast site supervisors Chris Netzer, Kyle Smith, and Americo Costa oversaw the er****on sequence. This is what it looks like when a community builds for itself. Thank you to the Town of Bennington and to every set of hands that touched this project.

Big Truck Night at Shaftsbury Elementary School was a hit. On Friday, May 15, Dailey Precast and J&T Trucking, LLC showed up with two tractor trailers and spent a few hours with kids and families who were more than ready to explore every inch of those vehicles. Batch Plant Manager Jonathan Wilcox repped our team well, Peckham hat and all.

It is good to be part of this community. Thank you to Shaftsbury Elementary for including us.

Dailey Precast is donating four insulated wall panels for a year-round restroom at the new Bennington, VT skatepark.

Before the panels were ever set, local students from Southwestern Vermont Regional Technical School came into our plant and helped place thin brick into the custom form. Real production, real materials, and real learning. This is the kind of project that makes the work personal and shows mastery. We are proud to be a partner on this project and proud to be part of this community.
