We’re proud to share that the Northland team was recognized as Ryan Companies’ Scott Beron Safe Subcontractor of the Year.

This award reflects the dedication, professionalism, and commitment to safety demonstrated by our employees every day on the jobsite. Safety is more than a requirement—it’s a core value that guides how we work, plan, and take care of one another

As part of the award, Ryan Companies presented a $5,000 donation to the charity of our choice. We chose Soldier's 6, a Minnesota-based nonprofit founded in 2016 that provides specially trained service dogs to veterans and first responders living with PTSD. Their work helps connect those who have served our communities and country with loyal companions that provide support, comfort, and confidence in everyday life.

Thank you to Ryan Companies for this recognition, and congratulations to everyone on the Northland team who helped make this achievement possible. Your commitment to working safely continues to set the standard for excellence.

Who’s excited to check out the new Mystic Lake Amphitheater?

Opening soon, this incredible venue will have the capacity to host up to 19,000 fans and is set to become one of Minnesota’s premier destinations for concerts and live entertainment.

Northland Concrete & Masonry was proud to complete the masonry scope on this landmark project, installing more than 124,000 CMU blocks throughout the facility. From the first block laid to the final details, our crews delivered the craftsmanship and dedication that helped bring this project to life.

We can’t wait to see this venue filled with fans and unforgettable moments for years to come.

This past Friday, we gathered to celebrate the retirement of Dave Wead after 17 years with Northland Concrete & Masonry.

Throughout his time at Northland, Dave was known as a dependable and hardworking member of our team. As a truck driver, he played an important role in supporting our operations and helping keep projects moving across the Midwest.

We were honored to spend the afternoon with Dave, his wife, friends, and coworkers as we reflected on his career and recognized the impact he has had on our company over the years.

Dave, thank you for your 17 years of dedication, commitment, and service to Northland. We wish you all the best in retirement and hope this next chapter brings plenty of time for family, friends, and the things you enjoy most.

For two decades, Craig has brought skill, reliability, and craftsmanship to every project he’s been a part of. His dedication and experience continue to make a lasting impact on our crews and company.

Joel’s commitment, hard work, and attention to detail over the past 10 years have helped uphold the quality Northland is known for. We appreciate everything he brings to the team each day.

This past Friday, we hosted our Employee Appreciation Party at Mystic Lake, and saying it was a good time would be an understatement… It was a GREAT TIME! With over 500 employees and guests in attendance, the night was filled with laughter, prizes, great conversations, and memories we won’t forget.

At Northland, we know the people behind the projects are what truly make this company what it is. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night special. We hope you had as much fun as we did!
