Basic valve prep before install today. New framing and plumbing complete. Wallboard and pan installed. Tomorrow all sealants and pan tile will be installed. Updated pics to come!

What looked like a simple shower remodel turned into a serious warning.

Once we removed the old shower materials, we uncovered extensive water damage, including rotted wood, damaged flooring, and framing that will need to be replaced.

A small shower leak may not look like much on the surface, but behind the walls and underneath the floor, it can cause thousands of dollars in hidden damage.

For this project, we’ll be:

• Removing the damaged subfloor and rotted wood
• Installing new floor joists and framing
• Repairing the structure properly
• Building a brand-new custom tile shower
