A fair question that I often get asked is how I came up with my business name. The simple answer to that question is that it is in memory of my late aunt, Pamela Kay Spencer. She was born on December 9, 1952 and passed away on March 16, 2016. She would've been 70 years old today.
When I was about four or five years old, I spent the night at my grandparents' house like I did quite often. Except this one morning when I woke up, there at the kitchen table sat this lady, whom I didn't recognize in my young mind. To me she was a stranger, and I would not talk to her. There on the table sat a box of Apple Jack Cereal. My aunt told me in a joking manner, that if I didn't talk to her, she was going to call me Apple Jack. Ever since that day and up to the day of her passing, she has always called me Apple Jack.
