When drilling a new construction residential well, you never know exactly what the soil and aquifer geology will be. This can change from one house to the next, so the well driller must check soil color, soil type, and other factors throughout drilling. This is how we find water at any location and choose where to set the well screen. This video is a time-lapse of a 380 ft new-construction water well, providing the family moving into the house with clean, safe water for decades to come. Can you guess when in the time-lapse we hit the water-bearing soil?

Here is a bird's eye view of our Master Well Driller, John Robbins, adding another drill rod. These geothermal wells are 360 ft deep. During this job, we completed two geothermal wells per day, for over 720 ft of drilling per day! That means our driller will make over 72 connections a day. This house will have 8 geothermal wells total, all with 50-year warranties! This means this family will have many years of comfortable, reliable, and cost-effective heating and cooling.

Emergency no water situations happen all the time in residential, agricultural, and commercial water systems. This job was a well line shaft turbine that went down and needed emergency service to prevent this sod farmer from losing his crop. That is why, once we received the call, we came out the same day to get his well pump back up and running. Whether you need emergency service for a residential well, commercial well, agricultural well, or industrial water well system, we provide same-day service to all customers. That is why Robbins Water Service provides emergency service 7 days a week.

Here is a quick look at our well drilling setup from today! The well ended up a little over 400 ft. deep and will provide this family with an abundance of clean, safe drinking water.

This weekend we will have our well drilling rig set up at Evergreen Dairy Bar for their Touch a Truck event. If you want to learn more about your system or check out our equipment in person, stop by and say hi!
