Just wrapped up a fun troubleshooting job on this exterior meter socket that was giving homeowner trouble! (Partial power)
Pulled out the FLIR thermal camera / meter and spotted the overheating breaker right away, then gave it a good smack with the hammer to pop it open and reveal the real problem. Fixed it up quick and got the power back on safe and sound.
This is exactly why having the right tools and experience matters out in the field! If you’re in Sharon, Canton, Foxboro, Stoughton or around the area and dealing with weird electrical issues, don’t wait for it to get worse.

🚨 Why you should NEVER double-tap neutral wires ⚠️
This is what happens when neutral conductors are double-tapped in a panel.
The image shows exactly why this dangerous practice leads to overheating, insulation meltdown, and fire hazards.
Double-tapping neutrals is a common code violations I find — and it’s extremely risky because neutrals carry unbalanced current and can easily overload when improperly connected.

Key reasons it’s dangerous:
• Increased resistance at the connection point
• Heat buildup (as clearly shown in the photo)
• Potential for arcing and fire
• Can mask other circuit problems
