There’s just something about a leathered finish. 😍

This Mont Blanc Leathered Quartzite has all the beautiful movement you expect from natural stone, but the soft, textured finish gives it a completely different feel. It tones down the shine while still letting all that gorgeous veining do its thing—and we love how it looks paired with the warmth of these wood cabinets.

And that multi-level countertop? Proof that sometimes a little extra dimension makes the whole space more interesting. 🤍

Natural stone never gives you the exact same thing twice, and honestly, that’s kind of the point!

Sometimes the best days are the ones that don’t go quite as originally planned. ❤️

Cade & Brooke’s wedding came together a little more quickly—and a little differently—than they had imagined, but you never would have known it. Brooke’s family did an absolutely amazing job pulling everything together, and it turned into the most beautiful day.

Craig had the honor of officiating the ceremony and may or may not have cried through approximately 75% of it. 😂 But one moment in particular got all of us: when Craig asked Cade if he took Brooke—his best friend—to be his wife, Cade completely broke down…and that was pretty much the end of dry eyes for the rest of us! 🥹

And honestly, just look at those smiles. That pretty much says it all.

It was a beautiful day celebrating two people who very clearly adore each other, surrounded by the people who love them most.

And now it’s official—Brooke is a Hoffman! ❤️ She’s been part of the family for a long time, but we’re pretty darn happy to have the paperwork to prove it. 😂

Congratulations, Cade & Brooke! From your family—and all of us at Stone Creations—we love you both and wish you a lifetime of reasons to smile just like this!

It’s opening day!! 🎉

A HUGE congratulations to everyone at Pingel Processing on their soft opening today! We’ve been watching this space come together, and it turned out SO good.

Of course, we may be a little biased because we can’t stop looking at those countertops. 😏

Seriously though, we’re so excited for another local business investing in our community, and we’re pretty darn happy we got to play a small part in bringing this beautiful new retail space to life.

Congratulations, Pingel Processing! Now everybody go check out the new space, admire the countertops for an appropriate amount of time… and then buy some meat. 😂🥩

We’ll forgive you if the meat gets more attention than the countertops. Probably.

Customer service isn’t just answering the phone or scheduling an installation.

It’s listening. It’s communicating. It’s treating people with respect. It’s caring about the experience just as much as the finished product.

At Stone Creations, we take a lot of pride in the work we do, and we genuinely care about our customers. We want you to love your new countertops, but we also want you to feel good about the people you worked with along the way.

Are we human? Absolutely. Every company is. But when something doesn’t go as planned, we don’t hide from it—we communicate, we work through it, and we do our best to make it right.

At the end of the day, that’s what customer service means to us: treating people the way we’d want to be treated.

Thank you to everyone who’s trusted us with your homes and businesses. We don’t take that trust for granted.

So…where do we actually get all this stone?

No, Craig is not out back mining quartzite. Although honestly, give him enough equipment and he probably would!

We work with several stone suppliers who bring in slabs from all over the world — granite, quartzite, marble, soapstone and more.

And when we say all over the world, we mean it. Brazil, India, Italy and plenty of other places we’d happily volunteer to visit for “work purposes.”

We keep a large selection of slabs here at Stone Creations, but what you see in our shop is only a fraction of what’s available.

Looking for something specific? We can point you toward our suppliers, where you can walk through their warehouses and see full slabs in person. This is especially important with natural stone — every slab is different, and the movement, color and variation you see in one piece can be completely different from the next.

Once you find the one, your slabs are tagged for your project and make their way to us.

Then we take over.

Measure. Layout. Cut. Polish. Fabricate. Install.

Basically, the stone gets the world tour…and eventually ends up in your kitchen.

Where did this Illusionate Crystal Quartzite come from? Your guess is as good as ours. 😂 They don’t all come with passports!

Something exciting is taking shape in the shop… 👀

We’re putting the finishing touches on a custom service counter for another local Shawano business, and we can’t wait to show you the finished result!

For now, here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at the fabrication process. It takes a lot more than cutting a slab to bring a project like this to life, and our team is making sure every detail is just right.

Stay tuned… we think you’re going to love the reveal. 🖤

SINGLE. STUNNING. SEEKING FOREVER KITCHEN.

Name: Padang Forest Quartzite

Age: Approximately 150 million years young.

Relationship status: Single.

About me:
I’m naturally gorgeous (literally), low-maintenance, and I absolutely glow in the sunlight. My warm caramel and mocha tones are impossible to fake, and I’ve been told my movement is…captivating.

I don’t believe in trends. I’m more of a “timeless beauty” kind of slab.

My love language:
• Natural light
• Open floor plans
• Gentle rubdowns. (Mild soap only, please.)

Turn-ons:
• Big islands
• Waterfall legs
• Coffee bars
• Homeowners with great taste

Turn-offs:
• Being covered with mail.
• People who call me granite.
• Lemon slices that overstay their welcome.

Looking for:
Someone who appreciates timeless design, good lighting, and isn’t afraid of a little commitment.

Swipe right…or, you know…stop by the showroom!

THINGS THAT SOUND COMPLETELY NORMAL…UNLESS YOU WORK IN COUNTERTOPS.

“It’s just a small kitchen.”
— 184 square feet, two islands and a butler’s pantry.

“We definitely don’t want a seam.”
— in a 200” top.

“It should only take one slab.”
— Narrator: If the slab was 120SF.

“My cabinets are level.”
— We love this journey for you.

“I measured it myself.”
— Excellent. We’re still going to measure it ourselves. 😂

“We changed the sink, but it’s basically the same.”
— It is not basically the same.

“We haven’t picked out the faucet yet.”
— Tops are being fabricated tomorrow.

“The cooktop should be here by then.”
— A sentence with an absolutely flawless track record.

“We only want a little overhang.”
— 16”. No supports. Seats six.

“My contractor said you could do it.”
— Please have your contractor call us. We just want to chat. 😏

“Can you make the seam invisible?”
— Absolutely. Right after we finish inventing invisible stone.

“Can you just cut it at the house?”
— Sure. We’ll bring the fabrication shop.

“Can we change something after you measure?”
— Of course! How attached were you to your install date?

“Can you use the leftover piece for our bathroom?”
— Certainly. Which one of the 47 pieces of leftover stone shaped nothing like your vanity were you thinking?

And then…the undisputed heavyweight champion:

“While you’re there…”

— There it is.

😂

We love you. We really do.

But somewhere at Stone Creations, every one of these sentences has caused someone to stop what they’re doing, stare silently into the distance, and wonder how difficult it would be to start a new life raising goats.

Now we need to hear from everyone else:

What’s the version of this in YOUR line of work?

What sentence does a customer, client, coworker or patient say that immediately makes you think:

“Ohhhhh boy. Here we go.”

Homeowner:
“So…how long is this gonna take?”

Us:
“Well…”

Behind every “How long is this gonna take?” is…

• Figuring your quote.
• Tracking down the perfect slab.
• Scheduling your measure.
• Field measuring every wall, cabinet, window, appliance, and sink.
• Drawing the entire job in CAD.
• Coordinating all of it so it happens in the right order.
• Deciding where seams belong (or if we can eliminate them altogether).
• Matching the movement and veining.
• Calculating overhangs and support requirements.
• Making sure sinks, faucets, cooktops, and accessories all play nicely together.
• Planning how we’re going to get 700+ pounds of stone into your house without taking out a wall…or one of our installers.
• Fabricating every cut, polish, sink opening, and edge profile.
• Loading it without breaking it.
• Installing it without scratching your cabinets, walls, floors, or your sanity.
• Cleaning everything up.
• Sending the final invoice.

So…how long is it gonna take?

Currently…about 4-6 weeks from cradle to grave.

Because great countertops don’t happen by accident. 😉

“Why is your competitor cheaper?”

We hear this from time to time, and our honest answer is…

We have absolutely no idea. 🤷‍♀️

As much as we’d love to dust off the crystal ball and explain someone else’s pricing…it’s in the shop for calibration. 🔮😂

Seriously though, without seeing the other quote, we’re just guessing—and we’re terrible at guessing.

Countertop quotes aren’t always apples to apples. Sometimes they’re apples to oranges…and occasionally they’re apples to a toaster.

A few reasons two quotes can be different:

✅ One company prices by the square foot. Another prices by the slab.
✅ Material costs vary depending on the supplier.
✅ One quote may include removal, delivery, sinks, cutouts, or installation…another may not.
✅ Different edge profiles, thicknesses, and finishes all affect pricing.
✅ Seams, overhangs, and support requirements can change labor costs.
✅ Warranties and service after the install aren’t always the same.
✅ Fabrication equipment, shop overhead, insurance, and experienced installers all cost money.
✅ And yes…sometimes another company simply chooses to charge less.

Could our quote be higher?

Absolutely.

Could it also include things another quote doesn’t?

Also absolutely.

Our goal has never been to win the race to the bottom. Our goal is to give you a beautiful countertop that’s measured correctly, fabricated carefully, installed professionally, and still looks great years from now.

So if you’re ever wondering why our quote is different, just ask! We’re always happy to explain our pricing.

The only thing we can’t explain…is someone else’s. 😄
