Hazardous dead American Elm tree removal was on the books for us today! This tree presented some major problems with access for our equipment so we worked with MCE Crane Services to get the job taken care of! Cranes have become a staple in tree work due the minimum impact they offer in tree removal and an added blanket of safety for severely compromised trees.

As much as we strive to deliver top of the line results with our tree care practices, we also strive to be the safest company in Oklahoma.
This last Friday we had the pleasure of teaming up with R&B Trees Trees Trees to put on our first ever annual Aerial Rescue training event Arbor Rescue OKC at Scissortail Park in OKC. We had Mercer Tree Service LLC, Heritage Tree Care and BP Trees, LLC assist as trainers within our 2 trees. This type of training is intended to help tree workers come up with a systemic response to assist a climber who been injured in a tree to bring them down safely. We had 50 tree workers show up! We look forward to growing this event next year and continuing to lead in our passion for safety culture within the industry!

Proud to announce another credential behind our name! Our owner/operator Jonathan Sullivan attending a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification class in Tulsa almost a month ago and passed his written/field exam. This course goes over very valuable topics in regards to consulting customers about their trees in question and the bio mechanics of trees in general. This qualification is highly sought after by municipalities, counties and parks and recreation outfits. This knowledge and assessment process also can carry incredible value to our residential customers as well! We always strive to learn more and keep our image of professionalism at an all time high!

Another hazard tree taken care of! The vertical fractures in this tree were very deep and it was continuously shedding limbs. Decently tight quarters but just enough room to do a full scale fell!

Today we had the pleasure of doing some awesome tree preservation work! This tree’s co-dominant union started splitting after the tornado in Shawnee, the homeowners wanted to save it so we came to the rescue! We did some weight reduction pruning then establish a bracing rod (2nd and 3rd picture) along with a high strength cable (4th picture) above the rod. This practice falls under our Tree Protection services we offer.
