I was in this basement and started cluing in on some basic indicators to how mice might be getting into the basement….. Once outside my suspicions confirmed it. This house has multiple problem areas… But this was a big one!

Slightly unusual rub mark or rodent grease buildup on this framing from mice. This is another example IMO of mice climbing to more elevated areas to watch over their living space. These marks appeared to dead end on both sides.
