We respect that our job site is in your home. Swarny Carpentry is owned and operated by Josh Swarny. Josh began in the field of residential construction in 2005. He then moved on to specify in shop built cabinets, and eventually joined a small crew in flipping homes. By 2011 he was experienced in residential repair and remodeling, and was part of a finish carpentry crew specializing in custom cabi

netry and trim packages installs on new construction, remodels and fire/flood restoration. Swarny Carpentry was fully launched in 2015. Since then, Swarny Carpentry has provided residential services involving custom carpentry and cabinet builds, cabinet alterations, door repairs/replacement, new home trim installation, drywall repairs, interior framing, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, home add-ons and more.

We wanted to take a moment to recognize and congratulate Isaac.

If you had us work on your project after the fall of 2021 then you likely met Isaac. He was a part of our team for about three years. This week we got to watch him graduate from the Shawnee Police Academy.
Very proud of the determination and hard work we got to witness him put forth to be able to stand in that uniform.

Here’s a kitchen we did last year!

A barndominium style home, we provided consult on layout options, provided the custom shop built cabinets and inProof Painting & RemodelRemodel did another great finish on these, then we finished it out with quartz and backsplash.
In this case the home owner did the top shelf and vent hood with some refurbished lumber they had.

While we generally provide turn-key services, start to finish, we can accommodate a variety of situations and preferences!

Water damaged the ceiling causing it to fall in on this dining room floor.
Required new insulation, drywall repair(including texture match), decided to freshen the wall both a coat of paint, replaced the bamboo floor and transitions.

Commercial Bathroom Renovation

Had to do a partial gut of the bathrooms to add blocking to accommodate the commercial bathroom partitions. Minor plumbing repairs as expected.
Color scheme turned out quite nice along with the floating laminate wrapped vanities.

Living Room Remodel

Took this one on last spring. The things we do aren’t fun sometimes. Removed about 7,000lbs of plaster from this living room.
This room got new vinyl windows, insulation, drywall, paint, carpet, entry area with vinyl plank flooring and a new front door.

*Vinyl windows were previously installed, however weren’t installed properly and were held in by only some window trim. We had to block, shim and secure every single window.

Kitchen Remodel

Check out this before and after!
A partial kitchen remodel. Kept the old cabinet boxes and did new doors with concealed hinges. Replaced crown molding as well as some minor cabinet/trim adjustments.
Client made good selections from paint color, quartz selection to backsplash. And the new lighting really helps showcase those selections.
This was a nice update to this space!
