The Cocina 47 project showcases three GB-1000 grease interceptors, each equipped with factory-installed pumpout ports, to serve three different restaurants. The pumpout lines from each unit combine into a single external pumpout connection, providing easy access for maintenance. Each interceptor's pumpout line includes an isolation valve, allowing both chambers to be pumped out individually.

Cocina 47 is a mixed-use development located on Kansas City's historic Country Club Plaza. Fun fact: this is the first new retail/restaurant building constructed on the Plaza in 30 years.

I'm a product technician II, and I'll start my 9th year with Schier on June 27, 2026.

CULTURE 🤝
My favorite things about my job are my coworkers and the P.T.I. process. (product technician improvement ideas). Manufacturing engineers are engaged with builders and respect our ideas, experience, opinions and insight. So we are able to collaborate to find simple solutions.

INTERESTS 🧵
Sewing, textile arts, upcycling clothing—especially jeans—and gardening. I also enjoy reading about and watching true crime, forensic science, and military sightings of unknown anomalous phenomena.

TRAVEL ✈️
If I could travel anywhere, it would be to Botswana for a safari. And Hawaii for the natural beauty and laid back culture.
