Greater Wisconsin Electric is looking to add another member to our team. We are currently seeking a "shop guy" duties would include but not limited to:
Vehicle maintenance and cleaning
Parts delivery and pick up
Heavy equipment hauling
Material handling and organizing
Jobsite cleanouts
Shop maintenance, lawn mowing, snow removal, cleaning.
and a wide variety of other tasks on our property and at our warehouse.
The right individual may also be required to help on jobsites when needed for electrical construction of commercial projects.
This is great job for someone always looking to do multiple tasks and not getting bored with the same scenery.
Starting pay is bases on experience and qualifications between $13 and $20 per hour with the ability to earn as much as $34 per hour if candidate eventually enters the electrical field with our company.
GWE mainly serves most of Southeast Wisconsin and does some traveling throughout the U.S. for certain customers. Most jobsites are within 1 hour of the employees residence.
GWE offers paid vacation and holidays, apprenticeships, company match IRA retirement funds, excellent health care and travel reimbursement.

electrical contractor in need of shop hand. successful candidate should have valid drivers license with good record and be willing and able to maintain vehicles and equipment, deliver parts and tools to jobsites, clean, organize, maintain the facility including lawn, snow, garbage and many other odd jobs. Shop guy would also be used in the field as an electrician helper when needed. jobsites are located throughout Wisconsin however mainly in Milwaukee areas so travel is required up to 60 miles unpaid.
