One of our recent additions that we did on a large farmhouse.

We hung all new drywall in the main living space, kitchen, and loft area. Taped and mudded. Added a knocktown texture. Primed the new drywall. Finished with a fresh coat of paint!

Up here in De Pere we are on day 2 of taping and plaster work for this new home.

In order to do a plaster skip trowel finish on your home, you will need to have plaster board installed versus typical sheet rock. Then you tape and bed coat all your angles, joints, and seams. Then you skim over everything and apply a finish of texture by lightly skipping over the skim coat by hand.

This is a very durable finish and a forgiving finish to repair. However, plaster takes roughly 5 to 7 days before painting can be applied. Overall, this is a preference thing for the Homeowner, but it seems to be becoming more popular as of late.

Watch this basement come to life!

This customer was affected by the late summer floods in Milwaukee, WI. Our crew went in to repair the bottom 2 ft of drywall along with other miscellaneous dings and dents. After the smooth finish, we primed and painted everything, including the ceiling.

Another job well done by our hanging crew! Just over 300 sheets installed at this new home in Francis Creek. The boys had their work cut out for them with a 17ft peak in Great Room/Kitchen, then just over 10ft everywhere else in the main house, and then just over 12ft in this giant of a garage. A little over 350 sheets installed as we get started on this new home out in Kohler. Time to hit the reset button by scrapping this one out, sweep up, and put our construction paper on the floor as we get prepared to tape and mud!
