This communion table was designed and crafted for First Congregational Church-UCC (Sheboygan). The multi-colored table skirting (or apron) reflects the diversity of this congregation, and signifies that "all are welcome" to participate in receiving of the elements. These individual wooden tiles are joined together by a mahogany lattice frame representing a common membership in the church. The curved purple arches, topped with center keystones, connote the pouring of wine or juice.

This table is crafted with fourteen species of hardwoods. The walnut legs support a tabletop of birch, cherry, and mahogany. The apron is made with a base of maple, capped with squares of yellowheart, redheart, bloodwood, hickory, walnut, cherry, alder, white oak, and maple. The curved arches are made of solid purpleheart. No wood stain was used for this piece; a lacquer topcoat brings out the natural beauty of the wood.

This kitchen modification enhances the "culinary capacity" for one homeowner. The space previously occupied by a 48" wide electric cooktop is transformed into an ergonomically-friendly cooking center. Features include:
- twin butcher block countertops crafted from walnut, birch and white maple;
- matching pullout cutting board and baking sheet storage;
- pair of knife drawers;
