After I posted yesterday's morning video I had quite a few people message me asking how I was able to get the old cast iron pipe apart without cutting or breaking it. I made this video to help walk you through step by step, if you have cast iron plumbing of your own to repair. I hope this helps.

We found some unwanted rot today from a water leak that we've all estimated has run for years, silently rotting away the floor.

The shipping was delayed a few days on the beautiful glass shower doors, but now the Macon Bathroom is complete. So, as we bid Keith, and Susan a fond farewell, we at Built 2 Suit are preparing for a modernization, and restoration of a Farm House Bath. I hope all of you will keep watching, keep the comments coming, and keep the messages coming in, I enjoy hearing from each of you.

This is the end of day video for Wednesday, August the 19th. We've made a lot of progress from where it started from. I think all of you will enjoy this, and maybe it'll give you some ideas for your own bathroom. Our last video in this series will be Friday, that's when our sliding glass shower door will arrive.

Putting an expansion joint between the new steel bathtub, and the new tiles. During cool days, and hot days, the 3/6th inch bead of high unity silicone chalk will serve as a barrier to the expansion and contraction of the steel bathtub. This simple act will ensure both the tiles, and the tub remains damage free, and will give the homeowners years of trouble free use. A small step, but, a very important one.
