Florence Cement is proud to highlight our work on Heritage Hills Phase 2 for the City of Farmington Hills.

This residential streets’ project included the reconstruction of 28,000 square yards of roadway across eight neighborhood streets: Hunter Whip, Glouster Circle, Glouster Court, Ravenscroft, Old Timer, Old Timber Court, Yorkridge and Charleston Court.

One of the biggest priorities was maintaining access for residents throughout construction. That required close communication with the city, residents, emergency services, garbage pickup and mail delivery.

The project was completed in six phases and broken into smaller sections to reduce disruption while replacing the old pavement and aggregate base with new stabilized base and 7 inches of concrete pavement.
