Our organic felts and premium organic 90 # mineral surface can be delivered on half truckload and full truckload quantities per your specifications. Our quality is the best in the industry and we offer 2” lines on our premium Canadian production. In 2008 Ron Zanchetti acquired all of American Saturated Felt’s assets. Ron has many years’ experience in the industry and is working on expanding product

offerings and customer options. ASF added BP Residential Roofing Shingles in 2010 to the majority of the United States. The shingles come in two collections. The 1st is the Architect Collection which is a laminate shingle and the 2nd the Classic Collection which is a 3-tab shingle. We also offer BP Asphalt Coated Roof Insulator (fiberboard) nationwide in coated 1 side and coated 6 sides. In 2012 we added Ice and Water Shield. BP Gripgard and BP Gripgard SX. Any BP product can be intermingled on a truckload. Ron has been continually searching the market place for a state of the art synthetic underlayment. In late 2013 he found it in the Epilay brand. Epilay Weathertite Roofing Underlayment comes in 3 grades and is water repellant, non-absorbent, has 4 plies, has a strong and durable polymer construction, does not wrinkle, crack or become stiff in colder temperatures for smooth and easy installation and is 100% recyclable. This product can be bought by the container or by the pallet. ASF feels Epilay is the best synthetic in the industry. It has “GripWalk” which is Epilay’s unique gray high-traction top layer which reduces heat and provides a cooler working surface and permits easier steep slope walkability and retains its non-slippery properties even during high condensation or moisture on the surface. Epilay also has “Skid-Resist” which is an anti-skid bottom surface layer made with superior technology and advanced polymers that helps keep the underlayment intact and prevents the fabric from tearing while it is being fastened, avoiding any leakages through the underlayment layer. When out of the office traveling:

The ideal candidate will manage their territory by visiting customers weekly with a planned call schedule utilizing an organized sales plan. During these calls the position requires development of a pre-determined sales objective, reviewing sales results with customers, pursuing effective training on products to both the customer and the end user. This candidate should have an ability to understand market trends and customers needs in a given territory. This position also requires that the information they gather be reported into a “Customer Route Planning” program. On occasion, sales associates will be required to attend shows and train customers in other territories when additional help is needed during the year.

When in the office:

The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

Responsibilities:

Actively and consistently prospect and develop new business through cold calling, contacting tradeshow leads, and fostering partner relationships
Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
Identify customer's buying trends and provide reports to management
Enter, update, and maintain Badger information on leads, prospects and opportunities
Receive and process requests directly from customers (via telephone, fax and mail) for price quotations, product availability, orders, material returns, billing corrections, product information, order changes, and cancellations
Quickly and seamlessly resolve customer complaints and problems
Interpret sales and marketing data and determine effective sales representatives and strategies throughout the customer base
Educate and present both customers and end users about the products we represent.
Work with contractors and dealers for pull-though sales of products we represent this ensures our products has adequate distribution in the assigned market area
Achieve and exceed territory sales goals
Ability to plan personal work schedules and prioritize work tasks and responsibilities
Complete weekly “Sales Productivity Reports”
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

At least 1 or more years of sales experience
Experience with building products is a plus, but training is available at entry level
Strong time management and communication skills are needed
Ability to thrive in fast paced working environment, multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Extensive travel required throughout designated areas when not in the office for assigned amount of days
Results driven with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Must be able to communicate and follow-up with co-workers, management, customers and vendors

SUMMARY

American Saturated Felt has been in business since 1976. We sell shingles, roofing

felt and synthetic underlayment to the roofing industry. We are expanding our sales force, looking

for a motivated sales person to join our team as an Inside Salesperson. This position could

quickly grow into outside sales/territory sales management for the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years sales experience, outside sales preferred.

Wholesale Building materials or roofing background takes priority.

Essential to have office experience.

Must have drivers license, car insurance and a good driving record.

Need to be highly motivated and dependable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cold call potential accounts via phone/email.

Build relationships with current accounts.

Manage growth of asphalt felt line with heavy daily outgoing sales calls.

Make daily calls to contractors/builders/suppliers and setting appointments for Regional Sales Staff.

Coordinating with Regional Sales staff to set appointments with current and potential customers

according to their travel schedule.

Must do weekly call reports and expense reports as required.
