Good Evening everyone! Just letting yall know that there is a nationwide outage for Verizon at the moment. Brent’s phone is unfortunately not receiving calls. Not every day you come upon a panel in this sorry of a state! This 100 amp sub panel was not only a mess it was fed with #8 gauge wire off of a 100 amp breaker from the main panel. #8 wire is only rated for 50 amps; along with a few other dangerous issues. Great way to end the week leaving the fire hazards in the past, and the customer with peace of mind!

If you’re not; you should have someone of knowledge go over your electrical system every 10 years! Fortunately someone properly wired this panel give or take 60 years ago; containing an emergency, and subsequently facilitating an upgrade to the service change over with no physical injury to inhabitants. Both pictures are of a panel done correctly to NEC standards of the time. Nonetheless both deserve a good go over every ten years. Stay safe everyone!
