These photos are of walls and ceilings that have not yet been primed.. There are 5 levels of drywall finish. If you have a considerable amount of lighting in an area either natural or from fixtures and/or you are using paint with a sheen such as satin or higher we recommend the highest level (Level 5) for a flawless finish. A complete coating of the face of the drywall equalizes the porosity and absorbance of paint between the face paper and the drywall joint compound and eliminates the joints showing in critical lighting areas
