Well folks it’s only Tuesday and my brother and I got to install this beautiful 24’ x 18’ Cambridge paver patio. Equipment is key for these big slabs. The Uni lift and engcon head on the excavator were key for this one.

Today we got to remove a couple monster entrance trees and replanted with something more manageable. I also got to take my number one worker to the garden center. Well let’s say he is more known there than me lol. Thanks to central mass garden as always for your amazing selection and kindness.

Fun couple days renovating the entrances to this beautiful home in Shirley. Old concrete and steps removed for some new beautiful granite with natural blue stone walkways. There was a special request on the main entrance. Well I’ll say I think we hit a home run!!

Arbor Day 2026,
Last year at the Lura A. White School in Shirley, the aging trees had begun to pose a safety concern around the playground, making it necessary to remove them. While their absence was felt—especially the loss of shade and natural beauty—it also created an opportunity to reimagine the space.
Guthrie Bros. Landscaping Inc. stepped in, working with the appropriate officials to help restore the area. With the support of members of this wonderful community, we planted 12 new maple trees and 2 flowering dogwoods, and regraded the front lawn to create a lush, green space for everyone to enjoy.

It is icy out untreated driveways and walkways are bad. But remember one call can do it all. From sand/salt mix to treated salt we got it all. You can message us on messenger or call the office. (978)425-4911

Ok people in the north east. This evening we will encounter a nasty storm that will linger into tomorrow. I want everyone to understand that there is NOTHING you can do to stop or prevent freezing rain. With that said stay off the roads please. When the storm is near its completion you call and request a sanding or salting from us. During the storm freezing rain will just cover the product you put down and not work. Vehicle traffic helps but at times it may not. So in short even if you see a salt truck go by doesn’t mean it’s safe.

One week in and we are making some good progress on the Harvard pool renovation. Started with removing a few 30’ arborvitae‘s and stumps. All other brush grass weeds and organics. Then we removed 2,300 sq ft of brick, some block and a strip drain that was around the entire pool. We had to cap off all the drain pipes from the strip drain along with removing the old fiber optic pool light and reconnecting the conduit to the pool for a led replacement. Next was extending all irrigation and electric conduit to the back of the future wall. Also pouring a beam around the pool with concrete then installing 112 LF of coping. So many cuts but so worth it.
After discussing with the homeowner we decided to add two nice stainless steel fountains which had us installing over 70’ of 2” pipe to the other end of the pool. Now that all the infrastructure was moved and installed we were able to cut grades back for the wall and slope all areas in preparation for a drain.
