Since August 1995 I've been self employed in the construction trade. God is Good and Faithful never wondered what job is next in the past 27 years. Spring of 2021 I was approached by the owner of American Tool & Supply, a locally owned hardware store, if I would work for him full time? I wasnt looking for a job or a change but as Linell and I discussed the offer it became evident that it would be a good move. As time passed since the offer I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and have been dealing with various issues as my body adjusts from high sugar to regular levels. These health issues have made it difficult to complete the projects I had committed to prior to starting at the store. I appreciate the patience of those waiting to get their projects completed. I am grateful to God for working things out with employment prior to the health issues and the struggle they have brought with doing the work that I so loved to do. I do miss the design and implementation of building and creating but God has blessed with a wealth of awesome memories covering 35 years in the building industry. God has provided a job that is not only close to home, but allows me to share the knowledge He has allowed me to gain over these 54 years walking on His creation, with others that come to the store and ask for help! Even though life events bring change we as Believers in Christ can always appreciate the opportunities He presents to share His Mercy, Grace and Salvation to those crossing our path!
