Full-time Bookkeeper position
SUMMARY: Perform bookkeeping duties by performing the following.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using QuickBooks Pro.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.
• Communicate directly with clients/vendors regarding accounting services matters.
• Process payrolls and related payroll taxes.
• Process and maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Process monthly banking and credit card account reconciliations.
• Prepare year-end reporting forms, including W-2s and 1099s.
COMPETENCIES:
• Ability to communicate well with other staff and clients, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to manage scheduling, workload, and deadlines.
• Exhibits sound and accurate judgement.
• Must be well organized, detail oriented and thorough.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The education and experience requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
• Associate degree or minimum five years bookkeeping, construction experience preferred.
• Payroll and liabilities experience
• Shall have ability to use Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Pro.
• Operation of office equipment and computers.
