As temperatures change, rats search for warmth, food, and shelter. Often slipping through tiny holes around siding, electrical wires, or plumbing lines. Once inside, they cause serious damage by shredding insulation for nesting and chewing through critical electrical wiring!

Watch out for these red flags:

Unusual noises: Squeaking, scratching, or scurrying inside walls or ceilings, especially at night

Property damage: Chewed baseboards, gnawed wires, or shredded insulation in the attic

Signs of activity: Dark droppings along baseboards or greasy rub marks near low entry points

🐀❌ As we get closer to fall and (eventually) cooler weather, rodents are more likely to move indoors to find shelter, food, and water. Here are 6 signs you might have a rodent problem.

To prevent rodents from getting into the house, seal up any cracks, get rid of standing water, clean up spills quickly, and don’t leave food out. We also recommend putting bait around the outside of the home.
