A roof inspection involves more than just looking at the shingles.
When evaluating a roof, there are several areas that deserve attention, including:
~ Shingles and other visible roofing materials
~ Flashing around chimneys, walls, and other transitions
~ Pipe boots and roof penetrations
~ Signs of leaks, deterioration, or previous repairs
~ Other visible areas that could allow water to enter the home
The goal is to identify concerns, evaluate the roof's condition, and help you understand what may need to be repaired or replaced. For the customer's roof in the photos, there was extensive damage to the shingles as a result of overgrown tree branches. It is important to keep your trees trimmed back away from your shingles! If necessary, branches will be cut back or removed during your roof replacement, as we aim to protect your new roof from future damages.
At Tip-Top Roofing Solutions LLC, we believe homeowners deserve straightforward answers and honest recommendations. Not every roofing problem requires a full replacement, and we want you to understand your options.
