Roof job is done, also banged out the other little things, some flashing on tool shed etc. I did get the lattice back up under the deck, just didnt snap a photo of it back up and cut tubes away.
Job is complete, on to the next one.

Today was a pain, the wind kicking up while trying to roll out the snow & ice shield, got tir3d of battling 20ft sections so I cut em in half, problem solved. Got a little wet for a min lol. Have to pick up some more perlings in the am as well as a high temp heat shield boot so it can get it done by end of day Friday.
Hips are killing me, dang fluctuations in the weather is kicking my but. Mon-Tue was hot and muggy, today windy, rain on and off and in 60s.

Got the metal up on the outdoor cat area and finished the roofing sheets. Due to breaker issue i had to hand nail the 2nd half of the roof and lemme tell you, it was 85° and humid, got out the truck and 5 mins later, I was soaked.
Anyways, delivery tomorrow, get the snow & ice shield up 1st thing and step flashing, then work on perlings etc. I really hope it doesnt decide to rain tonight before I get roof covered.

Couple more sheets of plywood to do tomorrow. Wednesday all my metal and materials arrives by 8am, so I can get the drip...

Couple more sheets of plywood to do tomorrow. Wednesday all my metal and materials arrives by 8am, so I can get the drip edge up and snow & ice shield on and perlings. Tomorrow, also picking up roofing for cat house, so that'll get some metal roofing to match the covered decks roof. Deck is getting painted i was informed today. Id stain it personally but costs is the factor.
Hit 90° today, I got a nice lobster tan bahahaha.

Rafters are up, hardware installed. Monday, blocking, facia, shear, snow & ice shield and perlings. I could've done blocking today, but I am beat. All week its just been me, jigged all the rafters, cut em and put them up between yesterday and today, in between the rain.
I Was able to get to Alpine Roofing this afternoon to get the metal and accessories ordered. Should be on site by Wednesday of upcoming week, which means by end of next week roof should be completed.
Ready for the weekend for sure.

Little progress. Made a small mistake and cut the posts to short, had to buy new ones and correct my mistake. Learning the whats and what not with manufactured homes more and more.
This morning, pulled 4 railings, pulled the 3 incorrect posts, put in new 12' posts, got railings back up and then got my rafter template made. Cut 4 rafters (5 including template). Got the 4x10x20 beam back up, solo, braced posts/beam. Spent some time and finally got things looking good. I got 2 rafters up and squared. Tomorrow, install 2x6s on roof to catch rafters, cut the remaining 12 rafters, get them up, shear up and snow & ice shield then head to Alpine to get my order in.

I got the requested outdoor Kitty Mansion framed out today, tomorrow I gotta slap on the fascia build door for it, throw...

I got the requested outdoor Kitty Mansion framed out today, tomorrow I gotta slap on the fascia build door for it, throw wheels on it so it can be moved if needed then I can get the fencing on it and plastic roof panels on. Crazy, even the kitty kitty's get to enjoy the view from the deck lol.

With the weather being unpredictable, I decided to bang this out vs doing rafters solo today. Next clear day supposedly is Monday so Monday it is.

Deck is complete, old railings back up... for now. Next, kitty mansion for the deck or rafters, all depends on the weath...

Got home early enough to get my daughter insurance policy for her car, then smash 3 blocks to DMV to get her title, reg and plates. Productive day, the son Zachariah Köehler even got his own insurance policy today for his truck. Mom n Dad are now off the hook from here on out bahahahaha jk.

Little end of the day video. Gotta fix a couple rip boards tomorrow, my brain just wont let it go until i fix the gap between new addition (which is the end closest to stairs to driveway, plus stairs are done w***y as ive seen. Will be all fixed at later date) and the lip over steps. It kept breaking on me, good thing it was only a 4ft section, all waste, that i was messing with. Original posts are out of square, gonna mess with it tomorrow. This is why I prefer to do all new framing, joists etc. When youre trying to start up, and be budget friendly, it is what it is. Was able to square out decking from a unsquared existing framework.
Anyways, ready for tomorrow.

Decking is almost done, just 50' run of border. Then putting old railings back up for now. 4"x10"x20' kicked my but getting up there, but I did it. Gotta sand the ends of the runs as well, probably put my daughter on that task while I frame out the kitty mansion for the deck tomorrow. Scheduled storm tomorrow so might be a half day. I am not trying to get struck by lightning like papa Pat Mulligan Sr did when we were kids.
Project is coming along, homeowner was on the deck today barefoot. She looked happy, which makes me happy.
