Thinking about breaking ground on a Yurt-Cabin? Here’s something people may overlook 👇

Choosing the right location is just as important as the structure itself. Before setting up your Yurt-Cabin, keep these key factors in mind:

✔️ Make sure your site is spacious and clear so your cabin fits comfortably
✔️ Look up! check for tree branches, power lines, or anything overhead
✔️ Evaluate the ground: soil, slope, and drainage all matter
✔️ Plan your access, can materials and delivery vehicles reach the site?

Good news: Freedom Yurt-Cabin kits are delivered palletized, and each pallet can be broken down into smaller components, perfect for remote or hard-to-access areas.

At Freedom Yurt-Cabins, we love seeing the innovative ways customers utilize their spaces, and this may be one of our favorites yet!

Barnstorm Records has recorded and/or produced every album release since 2019 inside their Freedom Yurt-Cabin studio located in the Davis Mountains of Far West Texas.

Their latest album, Never Fold, was entirely written, performed, recorded, and produced by Ryan and Todd Bayless inside the structure, showcasing the acoustic versatility, comfort, and creative atmosphere a Yurt-Cabin can provide.

From hospitality and full-time living to wellness spaces and now professional music production, it’s inspiring to see how adaptable these structures can truly be.

Another successful OFF-GRID Yurt-Cabin build completed right here in our home state of Nebraska! 🌾

Nestled deep in the hills of northwestern Nebraska, this remote getaway was designed for true off-grid adventuring, fully equipped with a solar power system and wood stove heating for year-round comfort.

Our build crew of 4 men traveled nearly 50 minutes each day to reach the build site. Although, this location is over 2 hours from our Sidney facility. From transportation and foundation work to the full build, solar installation, and stove setup, the entire project was completed in just 160 total crew hours. 💪
