The past few weeks have been nonstop in the plant world. Between the Tall Plants customer appreciation event where I finally got my dream plant, an Anthurium warocqueanum and Flora Culture’s Janky Plant Sale, it’s been a busy stretch.

For anyone who isn’t familiar, the warocqueanum (aka the “Queen Anthurium”) is known for its long, velvety, dark green leaves that can grow several feet in length. It’s definitely a statement plant, and I’ve wanted one for a long time.

Lots of changes happening, plenty of propagating, and now gearing up for a big plant swap at the start of the year. It’s been a lot, but in a really motivating way and I’m excited to see how everything comes together. 🌱

Found this little baby on the concrete yesterday, barely crawling 🥹 so of course I scooped them up and set them gently onto one of my zinnias. 🌸🐝
Pretty sure this is a bumble bee, with that fuzzy golden body and chunky shape — and they’re some of our most important pollinators. They help keep our gardens thriving, our flowers blooming, and our food systems alive.

A tiny rescue for a tiny life… but every little act matters. 💛
Save the bees, plant the flowers, be gentle with nature.

Here are some of my favorite plants making an appearance today:

1. Anthurium Cristallinum
A true show-stopper with deep green, velvety leaves and bright white veins that look almost hand-painted. Slow growing, but worth every minute.

2. Super Red Aglaonema
Bold, vibrant, and low-maintenance. Its fiery red foliage brings instant drama to any space—and it thrives almost anywhere.

3. Velvet Syngonium
Soft, velvety leaves with that moody green sheen. Easy to care for and the perfect trailing beauty for shelves or hanging planters.

4. Calathea White Fusion
Delicate variegation swirled with white, green, and hints of lavender. She’s beautiful…and a little dramatic, but we love her anyway.

5. Velvet Micans (Philodendron Micans)
Luxuriously soft, heart-shaped leaves that shift from green to bronze depending on the light. One of the dreamiest trailing philodendrons.

6. English Variegated Ivy
Classic, elegant, and fast-growing with creamy marbled leaves. Perfect for trellises, baskets, or letting it trail freely.

7. Philodendron Birkin
Glossy leaves with crisp white pinstripes—like nature’s own graphic design. Compact, stylish, and a true favorite in modern plant collections.

Plant lovers, tell me which one is your favorite!
