What is a C-27 Landscaping Contractor?
According to the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), a Landscaping Contractor: "Constructs, maintains, repairs, installs, or subcontracts the development of landscape systems and facilities for public and private gardens and other areas which are designed to aesthetically, architecturally, horticulturally, or functionally improve the grounds within or surrounding a structure or a tract or plot of land."

Any project over $500 requires a landscape company with a C27 license. If you are planting for spring, you are probably having your gardener do work over $500. With our C27 license, we are bonded, which protects you as a consumer.
