Well, today has marked the end of a journey for me. Knot My Time was started in May of 2011, with just a simple red/black bracelet I made for some of my engine company, representing our firefighter brotherhood. I knew I was on to something big, when order after order came in. Next thing I knew, I was ordering thousands of dollars of paracord at a time, just to keep up with the demand for my products. It was overwhelming at times. There were many nights, I got less than 4 hours of sleep, just trying to get orders out. Paracord bracelet were everywhere. People all over the globe were hooked, and I was the supplier.

Ah, but sadly all good things come to an end. Demand dropped after 2012 and the flood of cheap, chinese cord became commonplace. I went in to Walmart, and found Paracord Bracelet kits for sale there, for less than my actual cost. It was the nail in the coffin. Sales have dropped to nothing, so I have decided to end it all gracefully and close up shop.

It's been a fabulous run, these past 3.5 years though! We had 1000's of customers in 101 COUNTRIES, ACROSS 6 CONTINENTS!! Also, we had a customer on the the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise! I look back at how something I did with my own two hands, and how it touched so many lives. Granted it was just rope. But it was a moment of my life, given to you. It is said "Do something, so that the world knows you were there". Well, I did it... at least a 1/3. Not too shabby for a kid from the trailer park.

Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and my products. You all have blessed me in many ways.

Happy Lundi Gras! Off today recovering from surgery, and leaving everyone their eBay feedback. So much to leave! I'm sorry it tok so long to get to it. It's rare I get time to slow down to be able to do it, but I sincerely appreciate your patience. So I'm a little behind schedule, but I have been feverishly working on the website reboot and I'm very pleased with the results. It's not complete yet, but, the bracelet kit page, and finished bracelet pages are online, as well as a few others. I hope to have the rest done by the end of the week. Well, let's make it a week. I am playing a gig this weekend and I gotta get some rehearsal time in, but it's coming along.

Thoughts and prayers to the familes of today's tragedy in CT. As a father of 3, my heart is broken. Now is the time we need to think less about our wants, and more on other's needs. To help, I plan on donating my proceeds over the next week to help with funeral expenses for the families involved in the shooting who do not have insurance.
