I went to a customer's house this weekend to replace the exterior locks.
The front door stopped working months ago. The laundry room door needed a "technique" to open it. I joked with him "one more lock and you would have been locked out." I started on the patio door thinking this is the one good door only to find it failed long before the front door.

Don't lock yourself out. It's avoidable and VERY expensive. Take care of the repairs.

We got a call Sunday morning. A local gas station was "broken into" the night before. I asked the customer what happened.

"We caught him on video. He just walked up to the door, put a key in and opened the door. He took a few packs of ci******es and left. He even locked the door behind him."

My question is, how long has this guy had the key and helped himself to whatever he wanted? If all he took was a few packs of ci******es...
