Job Description:
Safeway Construction is an upstart and growing construction company based in Simi Valley, CA that services Ventura County and parts of LA County. We do everything from new construction, additions, as well as all forms of home remodels.
We’re looking to add a highly motivated and energetic individual to our team that will play a key role in driving business forward at Safeway Construction. As an Office Administrator, you will play a vital role as the backbone of how we manage our clients and push our projects forward.
This is a part-time role located in our Simi Valley, CA office. As an office administrator you will be responsible for answering phone calls and communicating with clients, vendors, and Safeway team members as well as logging expenses on projects, sending out invoices and contracts, as well as logging activity within our CRM.
The candidate will be someone who takes pride in representing Safeway Construction in the best way possible by providing excellent customer service. This candidate will also have great attention to detail and diligence in performing tasks that are the backbone of pushing business forward at Safeway. Above all, they will take pride in being part of one of the fastest growing Construction companies in Ventura County.
Responsibilities:
- Logging expenses on projects in Quickbooks
- Utilizing Quickbooks to draft estimates and emailing them to clients
- Answering incoming phone calls, intaking client information, and taking callback messages from incoming phone calls
- Logging all communication and activity in Copper CRM
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Drafting and sending emails to clients and vendors
- Have general knowledge and understanding of Google Workspace
Job Requirements:
- Must be legally able to work in the United States
- Must have a valid CA Drivers license and ability to commute to our Simi Valley office
- Have a working phone (for internal communication with Safeway team members), phone software to communicate with clients will be provided
- Previous customer service experience
Not required but recommended is experience with accounting software and experience in the construction industry
