At first glance, this bathroom looks completely normal. No standing water, no obvious damage to the flooring, and nothing that would immediately make you think there's a moisture problem.

But the moisture meter told a different story!

During our inspection, we discovered elevated moisture readings in areas that weren't showing visible signs of damage.

🔹 The Bathroom: Everything appeared normal on the surface.

🔹 The Sill Plate: Once the area was accessible, our moisture meter indicated significant moisture in the wood at the base of the wall.

🔹 The Concrete Slab: Moisture testing also indicated elevated readings in the floor beneath the tile.

Here's what many homeowners don't realize:

Water doesn't have to be visible to be causing problems.

Moisture can remain trapped beneath flooring, along wall framing, and inside building materials long after the surface appears dry.
