The planning has been done, the foundation has been poured, the bents have been assembled. And now this past week was the fun and rewarding stage of seeing this timber-frame construction start to take shape.

The homeowners originally planned to do an addition to this existing home, but after quite a bit of planning and designing, we instead chose to repurpose and capitalize on the space the home already had. We turned an existing bedroom into an entry and office space, designed the kitchen with an island and new cabinets, reconfigured the family room windows and added a fireplace. We also remodeled the master bathroom for a fresh update, while adding more storage and a larger walk-in shower.
It was a great project and it was fun to see the transformation come together beautifully.

It’s been a year since Beukelman Construction completed this custom-built home. Since then, the homeowners have spent time making this house a home and we were recently invited to see it all decked out for Christmas.
What a joy it was to help the homeowners design and build their dream home and even more of a joy to see them loving their new home.
