This wonderful piece of furniture was rescued from another home, and recessed into the wall of this beautiful Queen Anne Victorian here in Sioux Falls.

You can see here that many repairs, and a few changes had to occur... But much care was given to keep its original Presence and Beauty! Once fit and installed, the Border Trimming was installed to keep it in place. Century old wallpaper had to be removed from the inside of it, and most of the wainscote backing had to be repaired or replaced. The original Hardware was cleaned and reused as well!!

The Leaded Glass Doors took a little repair, but them and the Drawers all operate as should. The Homeowner also added a W**e Glass Holder & LED accent lighting inside. Another addition is a slide out pedestal, wich holds the coffee maker.

After much Caulk and Putty work, I used a specialty Wood Primer, before adding multiple coats of Sherwin Williams Pro-Industrial Acrylic Semi-Gloss. The color for this beautiful saved piece of colonial history is "Snowbound"
