With EAB treatments right around the corner I thought i would share this interesting picture. This homeowner decided to remove a few trees that had been treated for EAB's 2 years ago.

After making the last cut the injection points can be seen. This is where the insecticide enters the tree.

We have been having some great tree climbing weather. This massive willow tree in SE Sioux Falls needed some large broken limbs removed.

Here is a tricky trim job we did a few weeks ago. In order to save the fence, trees, and shrubs below we secured the large limb with two ropes and slowly lowered it to the ground. The limb had been hanging there since the storms in September and would have eventually fallen causing more damage if we had not removed it. I still see many broken limbs hanging in trees around town, get them taken care of before they cause more damage or injury.
