We are officially back to helping our customers with removing fallen and storm-damaged trees from their properties. After days of assisting with emergency restoration efforts, it feels good to be able to shift our focus back to serving our community directly.

That said… we’re not exactly looking forward to the snowmageddon headed our way ❄️. With more winter weather approaching, we encourage everyone to stay alert, use caution, and put safety first.

If you’ve had trees come down or are concerned about damaged or hazardous trees, we’re here to help as conditions allow. Please stay safe, stay warm, and keep an eye on the forecast—we’ll be doing the same.

Day Five – Ice Storm Recovery Update

Today marks day five of our crews continuing to work alongside Blue Ridge Electric to clear trees from power lines so linemen can safely restore power throughout our community.

Our teams have been working late into the nights, pushing through long hours and difficult conditions to keep progress moving forward. At this point, restoration efforts are looking close to being complete, and we are hopeful that the work being done now will make a difference as we prepare for the upcoming winter storm.

With more weather on the way, our goal has been to do everything possible to reduce further outages and hazards. We truly hope these efforts will help protect the progress made and keep everyone safer in the days ahead.

Day Four – Ice Storm Recovery Update

Today marks day four of our crews continuing to work alongside Blue Ridge Electric to clear trees from power lines so linemen can safely and efficiently restore power throughout our community.

While the work remains demanding and conditions are still challenging, steady progress is being made and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Our tree crews and linemen are working long hours with focus and determination, with safety remaining the top priority.

We are also closely monitoring the weather, as additional snow is expected this weekend. Crews are adjusting plans accordingly to stay safe and keep restoration efforts moving forward as conditions allow.

We sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of everyone affected as this work continues. Your support means everything to the crews working on the ground.

Day Three Update – Ice Storm Restoration Efforts
Today marks day three of our crews working alongside Blueridge Electric Coop to clear trees from power lines so linemen can safely continue restoring power to our community.

These conditions have been extremely challenging, but our tree crews and the linemen on the lines have remained focused, determined, and committed—often working long hours in dangerous weather—to get everyone back to normal as quickly and safely as possible. Their dedication does not go unnoticed.
We also want to extend a sincere thank you to our first responders and firemen, who worked tirelessly throughout the ice storm to ensure public safety and respond wherever they were needed. Your service and sacrifice mean more than words can express.

Once power has been fully restored and things are back to normal, we will be able to shift our focus back to helping our customers with their tree service needs. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support during this time.

It takes a team effort to get through situations like this, and we are grateful for every individual playing a role in keeping our community safe. 💙
