🎣 Roy McDonald Veterans Fishing Park
We're proud to announce the completion of a new publicly accessible fishing platform for the Town of Wilton at the Roy McDonald Veterans Fishing Park!
Located along the Snook Kill, the new platform gives veterans and community members an accessible way to enjoy the outdoors and get out fishing. Its location near the Veterans Housing Facility makes this project especially meaningful.
The park is named in honor of Roy McDonald — former New York State Senator, longtime Wilton Town Supervisor, and a decorated U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient.
We were honored to attend the ribbon cutting and see the platform officially open to the community.
Congratulations to the Town of Wilton and everyone who helped bring this project to life! We especially proud to be able to help provide a space that is meant to create memories and experiences that’ll last a lifetime time with no limitations! 🇺🇸🎣

⚓ Onondaga Lake Park Marina Ribbon Cutting
We're proud to have been part of the improvements at Onondaga Lake Park Marina for Onondaga County Parks. We've been sharing behind-the-scenes looks on our Instagram () and the finished product here on this page — but we wanted to show you our crew in action, too!
Leatherstocking Services removed the existing docks, assembled and installed the new dock sections, and drove piles to complete the upgraded marina system.
It was great to see the finished project officially celebrated at the ribbon cutting and opened for the community to enjoy. This full-circle moment is one we wanted to share with you all, after countless hours in the heat, early mornings, and late nights to get it done. ✅
We're proud and grateful for our crew and everyone involved in bringing this project together.

This lakeside project came with its fair share of challenges, but the finished result turned the difficult terrain into something truly functional and beautiful. The steep slope not only made construction more complex, but also made the waterfront difficult for our clients to access and enjoy to its fullest potential.

By using a multi-level design, we were able to work with the natural slope while creating multiple outdoor spaces that can each serve a different purpose. Whether it’s a space for entertaining, relaxing, or enjoying the lake, each level can be tailored to fit the homeowner’s lifestyle.

This complex project required careful planning, structural support, and attention to detail to create a space that is safe, functional, and built to last.

This completed job took place at Onondaga Lake Marina. Using just our crew and machinery, we were able to demo the existing marina and install an entirely new Marina with docks from Structure Marine.
These floating dock systems are convient for easy in and out installation which is great for places with winters and seasonal businesses. This is the complete look but stayed tuned to see how we progressed through this project 👀

Recently, we were able to complete something our crew has never done before. The architecture of the ready rock wall took extreme craftsmen ship to complete. Redi Rock Precast Concerte Blocks mentioned that this design is something they’ve never seen done before.

The Redi-Rock Wall not only prevents erosion but it also makes your shore more accessible and inviting! With this design, the space creates a beautiful entertainment area. This classy look is timeless and lasting, just like the material!

Additionally, we are thrilled to announce this is our first ever project on Oneida Lake. We are hoping in the future that we can continue to grow our work over here! If you’re interested in enhancing your back yard to an aesthetic event space like this one, give us a call!

To better protect your boat, consider installing a boat lift.

A boat lift does more than keep your boat out of the water—it helps prevent damage from rough waves, wake action, and accidental bottoming out. Keeping your boat elevated also extends its lifespan and reduces maintenance by protecting it from algae, zebra mussels, barnacles, and other marine growth that can accumulate on the hull.

In addition, a boat lift helps protect your dock. By securing the boat out of water, it reduces the strain that waves, wind, and wakes can place on both the boat and the dock structure, helping to minimize wear and tear over time.

We have used RGC marine products for almost 20 years because of how we have witnessed their products last. Even with harsh weather, there is minimal damage in the quality of their appliances.
