Things I've learned about being in business, not every day is a good day, their will be alot of stress and everyone makes mistakes. I never even noticed this one little sliver of iron rolled over when putting in a middle stick. I found it when I was trying to tie the winding down and couldn't get the string through. I ended up having to remove a few coils to get it straightened back out and all good. It sure was a bit stressful not to damage any of the coils I had just put in though.

This is why if the bearing in your motor start making noise you get them replaced. This wore out so bad that the heat of the no longer round bearings welded the inner race to the shaft and required cutting in half to split off the shaft.

Some shop improvements for the new year. Re-did the bathroom floor. Got rid of the 25+ year old concrete floor and replaced with a new epoxy coating. Thanks to my friends Dan for the labor and Shawn for feeding the chickens ( spreading the flake ).
