Trenchless water main replacement.
Never fails! If I make a video, the phone will ring. Volume is loud when it rings.
The water lime had cracked at the house under the slab. Water was pushing up through the conduit for the electric meter grounding into the meter pan! Austin and Lucas went out to determine the cause of the leak and determine the service needed to be repaired, or replaced to remove the pvc joints from uneducated the slab. We replaced the service! We have done multiple repairs and installations for this customer including upgrading to a tankless water heater.

💧🏠 WATER ON THE WALL? THE PROBLEM ISN'T ALWAYS WHERE YOU THINK IT IS! 🏠💧

A customer recently called us out after noticing water dripping down a living room wall. Naturally, the first thought was a leaking water line.

Our team started where most people would — the attic. After a thorough inspection of the water lines, we found they were completely dry and leak-free. 🔍

With the customer's approval, we opened the wall to investigate further and quickly found the real culprit.

🚨 A threaded coupling on the galvanized vent stack had failed due to age and was leaking.

But that wasn't the only issue...

🌿 The vent stack was completely clogged with algae from the air conditioning condensate line, causing drainage problems and contributing to the leak.

To correct the issue, we:

✅ Removed the old cast iron tee and p-trap
✅ Installed a new PVC tee and p-trap
✅ Added an additional tee with a cleanout in the attic for easier future maintenance
✅ Insulated the new trap to prevent condensation and sweating inside the wall
✅ Used a vacuum to clear the clogged line and restore proper drainage

The system is draining again, but we also recommended replacing the remaining 7 feet of galvanized vent stack with PVC to help prevent future failures and give the homeowner a more reliable system moving forward.

Sometimes plumbing problems require a little detective work. 🕵️‍♂️🔧

The leak you see isn't always where the problem starts, and that's why proper diagnosis matters.

Ending the week the way we like to... solving problems and giving our customers peace of mind! 🙌

This week we responded to a concern about a possible gas leak. After a thorough inspection, our technician used a leak detector and tested all accessible fittings with soapy water to pinpoint the issue.

🫧 Small bubbles were detected at a compression fitting behind a galvanized 90 entering the wall.

✅ Tightened the fitting
✅ Retested with the leak detector
✅ Retested with soapy water
✅ Confirmed no leaks present
✅ Confirmed no gas odor detected

Sometimes the smallest leaks can cause the biggest worries, which is why taking the time to properly diagnose and verify repairs is so important.

As we head into the weekend, remember:

🏡🔧 Buying or Selling a Home? Don't Skip the Sewer Inspection! 🔧🏡

One of the most important parts of a home inspection happens underground where you can't see it.

For this property, our team performed a complete sewer cleaning and inspection process to ensure the line was in good operating condition for the new buyers.

✅ Ran our high-speed FlexShaft through all accessible drain lines

✅ Used our high-PSI hydro jetter to thoroughly clean the system

✅ Removed scale, sludge, and buildup from the pipe walls

✅ Performed multiple passes from the main cleanout and 3" roof vents

✅ Conducted a detailed video inspection after cleaning

Our FlexShaft uses specialized chains spinning at high speed to knock scale and deposits loose from the pipe walls. The hydro jetter then flushes the debris from the system, leaving the line as clean as possible for inspection.

Once the cleaning was complete, we performed a thorough camera inspection and recorded multiple videos showing the condition of the sewer line. During the inspection, we panned around to verify the property location so buyers have documentation confirming the inspection belongs to the correct home.

🎥 Multiple videos were provided showing the sewer line clear of debris and in good operating condition.

If any failed sections had been discovered, we would have documented the location, provided a repair diagram, and prepared an estimate for repairs.
