Shoutout to Arrow Safety for coming out and leading confined space training with our crew! Always good working with them!

Today, we finished up our 8-hour Confined Space Entrant, Attendant, and Entry Supervisor training for a great group of folks at Atek Electric & Mechanical in Smiths Grove, KY!

During this course, the team reviewed the requirements found in OSHA 1910.146, NFPA 350, and ANSI Z117.1, as well as their site-specific policies, procedures, and forms. In addition, students demonstrated various competencies, including, but not limited to:
• Setting up a tripod;
• Operating a winch and a 4:1 rope utility system;
• Using a rescue pole to perform non-entry rescues;
• Bump testing, calibrating, and using gas meters;
• Setting up positive- and negative pressure ventilation; and
• Filling out entry permits.

It is a great day to focus on safety! Today Drew Hinton at Arrow Safety led our Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) training! Safety is our top priority, and we’re proud to invest in our team’s growth and well-being. Here’s to a safer and more productive work environment! 💪✨

It was a beautiful morning for some Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Operator training in Smiths Grove, KY for a great group of folks at Atek Electric & Mechanical!

During this course, we discussed the various types and groups of MEWPs, OSHA and ANSI A92 standards, safe operating procedures, inspection requirements, rescue plans, and much more.

After the classroom session and written exam, we went out for practical demonstrations and the hands-on performance evaluations to put their skills to the test!

We had a great time tonight at the SOKY Fairgrounds for the Disney Trunk or Treat! The A-team showed up and gave out THOUSANDS of pieces of candy to kids in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We ❤️ BG and love to give back to the community that is so good to us! Thanks to James Kinslow and family, Elijah Wade Nichols and family, and Becky Brown for volunteering your time today!

We spent some time yesterday shopping and gathering donations for the folks hit hard by Helene in North Carolina. Special thanks to Western Crane Service, Inc for organizing the truck and transporting the supplies. We are blessed to partner with companies who put people and community first!

As we observe Patriot Day today, and we remember the tragedy of 9/11/01, we remember the fallen. We remember our first responders. We remember our armed forces. But we also remember how, during that time, we all came together as the American people. We were not any political party or any race. None of that mattered. For a short time, we were Americans helping Americans. As we remember today, let's be Americans helping Americans. That is the ultimate way to honor those who lost their lives and those who lost their loved ones on the day that changed everyone forever.

Today some of us are taking a break from the field for safety training with Drew Hinton from Arrow Safety. Of course we can always count on Donald N Brandy Brown to keep everyone laughing! BUT we also know the value of having a great team of guys to work with and a few good laughs along the way.
