The first time I went outside this morning, the storm was still storming, but when I left it had mostly broken. Unfortunately, it left many broken things in its wake. A snapped power pole on 44 south of Buss with a downed line leaving only the southbound lane passable, another line dragging along the ground on Harrison between 44 and Criswell due to an uprooted (!!) tree, and too many fallen branches to count.

Kudos to Sheriff Zimmerly in Holmes County for his recognition that his brief includes public safety along with law enforcement and taking that responsibility seriously.

And here's a picture of some clearish skies over the Steel City.

I forgot to get the before shot yesterday, but this was my Sunday afternoon and evening. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a 12v+ line behind the ignition switch in the age of CANBUS?
